Training History & CEUs

Too long didn't read (TLDR)

Your training record shows all courses credited to you. Certified officers must complete 24 hours of CEUs per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). You can view but not edit your record.

Viewing your training history

Log in to the portal — your training history is displayed on your home page showing total hours on file.

Watch your filter

Make sure the view is set to Fiscal Year, not Calendar Year. Training you know was reported may not appear if the wrong filter is active. Toggle between views using the radio button in the upper right of the training history section.

What each entry shows

  • Training — course title
  • Start / End Date — when the course ran
  • Grade — if applicable
  • Hours — CEU credit hours
  • Training Category — Firearms, Skills (In-service), or Supplemental Training

Annual CEU requirements

Officer typeAnnual requirement
State / local law enforcement officers24 hours (8 must be firearms)
Sheriff's deputies20 hours
Elected constables8 hours

CEUs run on the fiscal year: July 1 – June 30. Falling short of your requirement can affect your certification standing.

What counts toward your CEU total

  • POC-reported training — in-person or agency-delivered training entered by your Point of Contact
  • Online portal training — courses completed directly in Acadis; recorded automatically when you finish

Both count toward the same annual total. See Online Training for how to find and complete portal-based courses.

Your record is read-only

You can view your training history but cannot add, edit, or remove entries.

  • Missing in-person training? Contact your POC — they enter it, not you
  • Missing online training? It should appear automatically after completion; if it doesn't, contact your POC or Standards & Training
