Your Acadis certification is your official electronic certificate — there is no paper certificate. Your MCID is your certification number. View and print your certification from the Certifications section of the portal.

Your MCID

Your Mississippi Certification ID (MCID) is your unique identifier in Acadis and your official certification number. It is:

• Assigned automatically when your Acadis account is created
• Displayed on your downloaded certification
• Used by Standards & Training and your POC to look up your record

Find your MCID on your portal home page, just to the right of your name.

Viewing your certification

1. Log in to the Acadis portal
2. Scroll to the Certifications section below your personal information
3. Your certification type, issue date, and status are displayed there

If your record shows no certification, contact your agency's POC or email acadis-support@dps.ms.gov.

Expiration status

Your expiration date will show as Contingent as long as you are an active officer. When you separate:

• Less than 2 years out — certification remains active
• 2–5 years out — skills update required to renew
• More than 5 years out — 200-hour refresher course required

Downloading and printing

1. Go to the Certifications section of the portal
2. Click Print Certificate
3. Save or print from your browser or PDF viewer

To share proof of certification with a new employer or training provider, download the PDF — your MCID on the document can be used to verify your status in Acadis.

Instructor certifications

If you are a certified training instructor, you have an instructor certification in addition to your law enforcement certification. Both appear in the Certifications section of the portal.

• To print your instructor certification, click Print Certificate beneath the instructor certification entry
• If you believe you should have an instructor certification but it doesn't appear, contact your POC or Standards & Training
