Getting Started
Too long didn't read (TLDR)
Request a portal account, wait 12–24 hours for approval, then log in. Your portal shows your certifications, training history, employment record, and lets you submit applications.
The Acadis portal is your personal window into your law enforcement record. Once you have an account, you can:
- View your certification status and download your certificate
- Review your training history and CEU credits
- See your employment history across your career
- Update your personal contact information
- Submit certification applications
- Register for and complete online training courses
Requesting a portal account
You can request your own account or your agency's POC can request it for you:
- Go to the Acadis portal login page
- Under Resources, click Webforms
- Submit the New User Portal Account Request webform
Have the following ready:
- Full legal name and date of birth
- Social Security Number or MCID (if you already have one)
- Valid email address you can access
- Mississippi driver's license number
Approvals take 12–24 hours
Requests are generally reviewed twice daily. Be patient — do not submit multiple requests.
Use a personal email address
Your email is your login username. If you use an agency email and later leave that agency, you will lose access to your Acadis account.
After your account is approved
- You will receive an email with instructions to set your password
- Check spam/junk if you don't receive it within 24 hours
- If you still haven't heard after two full business days, contact acadis-support@dps.ms.gov
Logging in
- Go to the Acadis portal login page
- Enter your email address and password
- Click Sign In
Account lockout
Three incorrect password attempts will lock your account. To unlock, email acadis-support@dps.ms.gov. Use Forgot Password on the login page to reset your password.
