Standard statement

At least biennially all agency personnel authorized to carry less lethal weapons will demonstrate proficiency with all authorized less lethal weapons.

Each bullet must stand alone when establishing compliance, with proofs identified for every lettered requirement.

1. a.proficiency training must be conducted by a certified weapons instructor
2. b.proficiency training must be documented
3. c.the agency must have procedures for remedial training for those employees who are unable to demonstrate proficiency
4. d.the agency must have procedures for removal of any less lethal weapon from the employee who is unable to demonstrate proficiency until proficiency is achieved
